CTG believes that commercial evaluation and advancement of the diverse array of innovation at region's research centers will benefit from expertise across multiple scientific fields. Cottonwood has developed direct relationships with the heads of research and many of the section leaders at the region's centers. All have expressed a willingness to both refer opportunities and help with technical evaluations on potential investment opportunities of Cottonwood. The benefits include assistance with opportunity assessment, linkage to synergistic technologies and due diligence support. Scientists and technologists often are early to become aware of emerging research with commercial potential and are important beacons to such opportunities.
