CTG created and produced the inaugural Global New Energy Summit in Santa Fe, New Mexico in March 2009. This event was hosted in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Technology Alliance and brought a national spotlight to the new energy expertise resident in the region. It is an event which CTG will continue to manage annually and provides CTG a tremendous platform from which to build its network with industry leadership across the science, industry, finance and policy fields both regionally and nationally. Highlights of this year's event included Senator Pete Domenici as Honorary Chair, LANL and Sandia as co-lead event sponsors, Anup Jacob (founder with Richard Branson of the Virgin Green Fund) as a keynote speaker and directors of six of the national laboratories (LANL, Sandia, NREL, Idaho, Pacific Northwest and Oak Ridge) serving on the directors panel. To view the agenda, speakers list, and video/slides from this year's summit click on the below link.
